• Question: How did you know about the different 'branches' of engineering and at what age did you find out about the variety of things being an engineer could mean?

      To be honest the first time I’d heard about all the branches of engineering was reading through university guides when I was 16 and I was really interested to find out more. I had some ideas before as my Dad is a civil engineer.
      As well as thinking about all the varieties, I like to think that all engineers are united in a common way, they solve problems and make the world a better place!
