      Every day is different and i meet lots of interesting people who I have to talk to get the job built. It is exciting being the person in charge of it all.

      I have worked with some awesome people and crawled into some really bizarre spaces to carry out my job. I love solving real world problems and I have been able to travel the world as an engineer!

      It feels really satisfying when you fix something or build something that saves the day and I really enjoy all the little challenges that everyday brings me.

      I find it really fulfilling being an engineer. It’s great knowing that there are ships working around the world that I had something to do with. My favourite bit about being an engineer is going to see the equipment I’ve worked on at my computer being built in real life.

      I like solving problems and as a researcher as well as an engineer I like the fact that I’m doing things that no-one has done before. It feels great to know that my work will help people in some way and that’s really inspiring to me.
