• Question: When you are coding your simulations, how long does it take to add in the factors?

      It depends on the size of the equipment I’m simulating. By far the longest amount of time is spent on creating the geometry. That can take anywhere from 1 or 2 days to a few weeks. Calculating the forces and applying them doesn’t usually take more than a couple of days. Then it depends on if the equipment passes or fails. I often have to fix designs that fail which generally takes a lot of trial and error.
