Hi Edward, I didn’t study fluid dynamics as a separate course but it is a very important part of my type of work so I have developed a good understandings of her principles behind it. It is a very tough subject if you want to study it.

      Hi Edward
Yes, I took a few courses on fluid dynamics as part of degree. I often use the equations I was taught in class to design my experiments and and that’s what I like about engineering; putting what you learn in the classroom into practice in the real world.

Fluid mechanics (dynamics and hydrostatics) is an enormous part of my work and I find it fascinating! I used computational fluid dynamics in both of my University dissertations to look at the flow of sea water around the boys of sharks and compare it to the flow of water around the hulls of submarines. This helped me to rate a submarine design.

Yes I did a lot of fluid dynamics during my degree and in my job now I have to work out the sea pressure on the ships I analyse so I use basic fluid dynamics for that.
