• Question: If you could go back to your twelve-year-old self, what advice would you give and why?

      If there is such thing as time travel I would like to go back and see myself as a 12 year old. I wouldn’t give myself any advice, despite all the ups and downs I enjoy being an engineer.

      Ignore the bullies, you are doing great.

      (I would say the same to any 12 year old)

      I would tell myself to be confident and ask more questions, not just at school, to everyone. Ask people about their jobs and what they do on a day to day basis – this would get me thinking about my future job as most people don’t really know at that age. I might also tell him to keep studying German, as it might be useful to go with my maths and science to be an engineer one day.
