      Engineering wise, Brunel is my favourite. He was a pioneer in his field followed very closely by Thomas Telford, he designed the bridge near where I live.

      Einstein is still my idol. He was really clever, but did everything his own way.

      My engineering idol would have to be John Snow. He was a doctor who studied the diseases in London about 150 years ago. He traced the spread of disease to a water pump built near a sewage tank and his work changed how we treat water.
